Fishing

Fishing is permitted. Please check the Ontario fishing regulations for seasons and restrictions.

Hiking

Numerous trails throughout the park – Bruce trail, Dominion trail, Kettle trail, Meadow trail, Trans Canada trail. Horse back riding is permitted on the Trans Canada trail only.

Winter Activities

Forks of the Credit is a great location for day use winter adventures less than an hour from Toronto.
Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing are popular activities in the park and are permitted on hiking trails. However, please note that trails are not maintained or track set and be sure to use caution during winter months.

Day Use

Small grassy picnic area with a few tables during the spring, summer and fall seasons. Located next to the parking lot.

Reservation System in full effect

Advance Daily Vehicle Permit (DVP) system is in full effect, meaning that reservations are required to guarantee access to the park.

There are two ways of obtaining a reservations:

2. By calling 1-888-ONT-PARK (1-888-668-7275) – Open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time
